What to Check Before Submitting a Warranty ClaimUpdated an hour ago
If you believe your Ridewave e-bike, e-trike, battery or accessory may have a product fault, please collect a few useful details before submitting a claim. Clear information helps our team understand the issue and decide the right next step.
Submitting a claim does not mean a warranty outcome is confirmed. Each case is reviewed against the product information, evidence provided and the Ridewave warranty terms.
What to include
Please have the following ready:
- Your order number and the name or email used for the order.
- Your product model and a short description of what is happening.
- When the issue first started and whether it happens every time or only in certain conditions.
- Any error code, warning message or unusual charger/display light.
Photos that help us assess the issue
Where relevant, include clear photos of:
- The full vehicle or accessory.
- The affected area from both a wider view and close up.
- Any visible damage, loose part, label or error code.
- The battery, charger or display indicator if the issue is electrical.
Please take photos in good light and avoid blurry images. Do not dismantle the product or remove safety-critical components to get a photo.
Video is often the clearest evidence
A short video can be particularly useful for an intermittent noise, display issue, charging problem or motor-assistance concern. Start with a quick view of the whole product, then show the symptom clearly.
For safety, do not film while riding or ask another person to hold a phone near moving wheels, brakes or traffic. If the product feels unsafe, stop using it and film only while stationary if safe to do so.
Before arranging a repair
Please contact Ridewave before proceeding with third-party repairs for a possible warranty issue. Repair work and any associated costs need written approval before it is carried out. Routine maintenance items, such as tyres, brake adjustment and gear tuning after use, may need normal servicing rather than warranty assessment.
