Xplorer Models (Display Model: 860CM)
Home Screen Information:
- Clock: 24hour clock
- Head Light Status: Head Light on/ off.
- Speed Indication: Dynamic speed representation adjusts based on speed
- Power Indication: Dynamic watt usage representation, adjusts based on motor utilisation.
- Speed/Mileage Mode: AVG Speed, MAX Speed, Odometer, Trip distance
- Smart battery Power indicator: Provide a reliable battery Power indicator.
- Brake: Show
when braking.
- Speed Value: Real-time Speed, Km/h or MPH.
- Assistant Level: 0-5 modes optional. Higher level means more motor engagement.
- Maintenance Icon: When Odometer reached presetting (Default 5000KM),
will be showed, reminding maintenance. This function is reserved and inactivated by default.
- Errors Code: Show
when checking errors.
Functionality Instructions:
- Power On/Off: Pressing POWER button for 2 seconds, you can turn on/off the display. The Display can automatically turn off when there is no operating & riding for 5 minutes. (Length of time can be set,refer to 8.1.4 ‘Auto Power off Setting’)
- Pedal assistance level: Press UP/DOWN button to change assist level. Level quantities can be adjusted according to the customer requirements. If the default setting is 5: it means the lowest gear is 1, the highest is 5, and 0 for neutral.
- Turning on headlight: Press and hold UP button for 2 seconds can turn on/off headlight, display will switch to the corresponding mode (Day or Night). The built-in light sensor can turn on/off headlight automatically when the external light changes.
- Walking mode: Press and hold DOWN button for 2 seconds can get into walking mode, show ‘P’ on screen, out of walking mode when releasing button. Useful when taking bike up steep inclines.
- Data cleanup: Press and hold UP & DOWN button together for 1 second can clear temporary data (TRIP, Riding-Time, AVG SPD, MAX SPD data).
Menu Instructions:
- Accessing Menu: Press MENU button twice consecutively (press interval less than 0.3 second) can enter the main menu interface, press UP/DOWN button to select and press MENU button to enter the required adjustment item, press UP/DOWN button to adjust and press MENU button to save the parameter setting value. Select BACK to return to the main menu interface, select EXIT or press MENU button twice consecutively to exit the MENU parameter setting.
* Display will automatically quit menu if there is no operation for 30 seconds.
* For safety reasons, display will be locked on the Main Page when riding (speed≥2 km/h), function of MENU will be deactivated.
* Display doesn’t save settings until user click’s OK to confirm.
- Display Settings: Language, System, Brightness, auto off, USB Port, Clock, Scenes. Most of these display settings are pretty self-explanatory, USB port enables you to disable or enable the charging function from the USB port, and scenes changes the theme of the display.
- E-Bike Settings: Start password, Assist levels, Wheel, Battery, Battery Indicator, Power Indicator, Light sensor. Once again these settings are easy to use and intuitive, if you’d like to adjust the number of assist levels you can do this in these settings, we recommend keeping the number of levels set to 5 but it is personal preference.
IMPORTANT: The 'Start password' feature is a valuable tool for securing your bike. However, please only enable this feature if you are absolutely certain you will not lose or forget the password you set. If the password is lost, the bike cannot be operated, and the display will need to be returned to our mechanics team for a factory reset. Use this feature at your own risk.
*Note: Setting incorrect wheel diameter can cause abnormal speed
- Advance Settings: To access the advanced settings menu of the bike, where the speed limit and work mode options exist, please refer to our speed, power and throttle unlock manual available on our website. Here we disclose the passcode necessary to adjust the options within the advance settings menu.
- Factory Settings: Selecting ‘YES’ from within this menu will reset all settings to the factory defaults. This does not include the odometer or clock data.
- Information Settings: The information display interface includes: Speed and Mileage Information, Product Information, Battery Information. The battery information is displayed when the E-bike is equipped with a battery with communication function.
- Error codes:
Display shows error code at the bottom of the screen when system detects abnormalities.
