Do Ridewave E-Bike Deliveries Require a Signature?Updated 5 days ago

Yes — all Ridewave e-bike deliveries require a signature upon delivery. This helps ensure your new bike reaches you safely and securely.

We partner with several trusted Australian carriers including Allied Express, TNT, and Team Global Express for e-bike shipments, while Australia Post is typically used for smaller accessory deliveries.



What to Expect on Delivery Day

  • Your e-bike will arrive in a large, secure carton that requires a signature on delivery.
  • Please make sure someone is available at the delivery address during the scheduled delivery date and time.
  • If you’re not available, you can usually authorise someone you trust to sign on your behalf.
  • If no one is available, the driver may leave a calling card or attempt to re-deliver the next business day.

Note: While our carriers are instructed to collect a signature, there have been rare cases where a driver leaves the package unattended without obtaining one. Please do your best to be available at the time of delivery to avoid the risk of the bike being misdelivered, lost, or stolen.



Accessory Orders

If you’ve ordered accessories such as helmets, lights, or racks, these are usually shipped separately with Australia Post. Smaller accessories may be placed inside the main bike box, but if not, they’ll arrive in a separate parcel.

Australia Post may not always require a signature for smaller items, depending on your local delivery service.



If You Miss the Delivery

If you miss your delivery:

  1. The carrier will usually leave a delivery card or SMS notification with instructions.
  2. You may be able to book a re-delivery or collect the bike from a nearby depot.
  3. If you didn’t receive a notification or your tracking hasn’t updated, please contact us — we’ll reach out to the courier for assistance.
