Practise gentle starts, smooth stops and wide, easy turns before attempting a longer ride or hill.</p><h2 id="e-trikes-do-not-lean-through-turns">E-trikes do not lean through turns</h2><p>Unlike a two-wheel bike, an e-trike does not lean through a corner. Slow down before turning, steer smoothly and avoid sudden steering inputs. Take corners at a controlled speed, especially when carrying cargo or riding on uneven ground.</p><p>Allow extra room for the vehicle&apos;s width and turning path. Be mindful of kerbs, bollards, narrow gates and parked vehicles, particularly while you are still becoming familiar with the e-trike.</p><h2 id="build-confidence-gradually">Build confidence gradually</h2><p>Use the gears and pedal assist to suit the terrain. A lower gear can make starting and climbing feel easier, while a lower assist level gives you time to understand how the vehicle responds.</p><p>If your model includes features such as reverse, indicators or a parking brake, refer to the Product Guide for the exact controls before using them. Do not rely on instructions for a different model.</p><h2 id="stay-within-your-comfort-zone">Stay within your comfort zone</h2><p>Take breaks if you feel tired or uncertain. Do not carry extra cargo or passengers until you are comfortable with the e-trike&apos;s balance, turning feel and braking distance.
